A former elementary school and home to the electronics company Samsung, the Budapest Hare Krishna Educational and Cultural Center is one of the smartest and most welcoming ISKCON centers in the world. With a bright white and yellow exterior and a spotless interior that looks like a combination of modern museum and Indian palace, it’s perfect for welcoming members of the public and high profile guests. Also known as the Palace of Soul (A LÉLEK PALOTÁJA in Hungarian), it’s a popular tourist attraction that showcases traditional Indian culture. One can experience here bharat natyam dance, Indian music, and food.

There is a vegetarian and vegan restaurant Govinda Csillaghegy where one can try a variety of delicious dishes. Near the restaurant, you can visit the temple shop, where you can buy everything needed to practice Krishna consciousness at home at the best possible prices.

The temple is an 8-minute walk from the Csillaghegy HÉV station.
